About NorthPoint Performance
Built for People Who Expect More From Physical Therapy
NorthPoint Performance was built for active adults and athletes who have tried other approaches and still haven't found lasting relief. This is not a quick fix or a cookie-cutter clinic. Every plan starts with a full understanding of why the problem exists — and builds from there.

One-on-One Care That Goes All the Way to the Root
Standard care treats the area that hurts. NorthPoint looks at how your whole body moves, loads, and compensates — because that's where lasting change comes from. Every session is one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. No rotating staff, no aides, no shared treatment rooms. Just focused, individualized care from start to finish.
What Sets NorthPoint Apart
Every decision at NorthPoint is guided by the same set of principles: address the root cause, treat the whole body, and build results that last. These aren't marketing words — they're the reason the clinic was built the way it was.
Root-Cause Thinking
Pain is a signal, not the whole story. We look past the symptom to identify what is actually driving the problem — so you stop chasing relief and start building real change.
Individualized Care
No two bodies are the same. Every plan of care is built around your specific movement patterns, history, and goals — not a generic protocol pulled off a shelf.
Long-Term Results Over Quick Fixes
Temporary relief is not the goal. The goal is to understand your body well enough to keep improving after your sessions are done.
Education at Every Step
You leave every session with a clearer understanding of what is happening in your body and what you need to do. That knowledge is part of the result.
Dr. Alex Watkins

Dr. Alex Watkins is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a certified Functional Patterns Human Biomechanics Specialist. At NorthPoint Performance, Dr. Alex works one-on-one with each client to identify the root cause of pain or movement dysfunction — not just manage symptoms.
Dr. Alex's approach integrates a full-body understanding of biomechanics with an individualized plan of care, grounded in evidence-based technique and a deep respect for how the human body is designed to move. Every session is built around the client's goals, lifestyle, and long-term outcomes — and includes the education they need to maintain progress independently.
