Different Where It Matters
Standard PT clinics run high volume. NorthPoint runs one-on-one, every time. No shared treatment rooms, no rotating staff, no cookie-cutter protocols. Just a Doctor of Physical Therapy with the time and framework to find what is actually causing the problem — and build a plan that lasts.
One-on-One, Every Session
Full attention for the entire visit. No shared care, no aides, no handoffs — the same provider from eval to discharge.
Results That Actually Last
Every plan is built around a root-cause analysis. Clients leave with a clear understanding of what changed and how to keep it.

Comprehensive evaluation
We look at how the whole body moves, not just the symptomatic area. If prior care only treated the spot, this is different.
Performance-First Perspective
Whether you are dealing with pain or chasing higher output, the goal is a body that performs — and holds up under the demands you place on it.
Reset. Rebuild. Refine.
Reset
A comprehensive evaluation to uncover the root cause and assess how the body is truly functioning as a whole.
Rebuild
A personalized plan designed to restore balance, improve performance, and reduce pain — built around what the evaluation actually found.
Refine
Guidance to maintain changes, build resilience, and continue improving — so results carry forward long after the sessions end.

Common Questions
Answers to what most people want to know before reaching out.
How is this different from the physical therapy I already tried?
Most PT clinics are structured around high volume and short visits. At NorthPoint, every session is one-on-one with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy from your first visit to your last. We start with a comprehensive evaluation that looks at how the whole body moves — not just the symptomatic area — and build a plan based on what we actually find.
Do you accept insurance?
NorthPoint is a direct-access, out-of-network clinic. Clients pay directly; HSA and FSA are accepted. We can provide a superbill after each session, which you can submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We do not guarantee reimbursement — that is between you and your plan.
How do I get started?
The first step is a free phone consultation. We talk through what you are dealing with, what you have already tried, and whether NorthPoint is the right fit. If it is, we schedule a comprehensive initial evaluation — a full movement assessment and root-cause analysis that forms the foundation of your individualized plan of care.
Do I need a doctor's referral to be seen?
No referral is needed. Connecticut allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can book a consultation without seeing your physician first. That said, if you have recent imaging or records from a prior provider that are relevant, we welcome that context — it helps us build a more complete picture from the start.
Is telehealth available?
Yes. Telehealth is available for appropriate cases. It works well for movement consultations, program review, and follow-up visits where in-person hands-on work is not required. If you are unsure whether your situation is a fit for telehealth, that is a great thing to discuss during your free phone consultation.
