How
is North Point Personal Training different than other gyms?
Your goals are our number one priority- we are results driven. You aren't
paying us to just “use the equipment”, but to help you achieve the results
you desire. We have a specific programming department that will design
an effective program specifically for your needs. No more worrying about
getting the right trainer or whether or not your program is going to work
for you. We know what works.
Since 1992, we have developed and revised programs for thousands of clients.
Our longevity is due to the fact that we have delivered results where
others have failed. What we can do for you? Back to Top
What types of programs do you offer?
We offer three different types of membership programs: Back

What is Group Training?
This is our most popular option. Group Training
consists of small groups training with one of our certified trainers in
an energetic and effective session. The sense of community and camaraderie
that you will experience make these sessions seem more like “Hard Play”
than actual work. Back to Top
Our Group Personal Training options are:
- Afterburn Circuit Training
- Foundations
What can I really expect to accomplish in my first few months of training?
Since 1992, on average, our clients lose
17 lbs of fat and gain over 4 lbs of muscle- all in 75 days or less! Now,
we have had clients that have achieved even more dramatic results. We
will provide you with the perfect program and help you establish short
and long-term goals. Compliance is the key! If you follow our advice,
you are guaranteed to see results. Back to Top
Will I get
too thick and bulky?
In a word- NO. Our training will give you a lean, athletic body that will
function as good as it looks. Remember, if we made everyone thick and
bulky, we would have been out of business years ago!

How often should I workout?
It depends on your goals. Normally, we recommend 3 alternate days a week
of full body strength training and high-intensity cardio activity (Afterburn
circuit training) on the 3 other days for general fitness and fat loss.
Fat loss is our specialty, but we have also designed many types of programs
for muscle gain, golf and tennis, endurance athletes, young athletes,
post-rehab patients, and etc. It’s all about your specific goals.

Why don't you guys have many machines in your gym?
Quite simply, we don't believe in them. You are paying for results and
it is our job to deliver those results in the most effective and efficient
way possible. Using resistance such as free weights, kettlebells, cables,
and your own body weight allows you to incorporate much more muscle in
each movement. You get a more effective workout in the same or less time.
If we don't have it, you don't need it! Back to Top
How should I change my diet?
Again, it depends on your goals. From what we have observed, most clients
are overeating processed snack foods. Foods like cereals, sweets, processed
breads and etc. By simply reducing the processed foods you eat and adding
more fruits and vegetables to your diet, you will notice some positive
change in energy and fat loss. If you have a lot of fat to lose, stick
with lean meats, fruits and vegetables. Simple, but not easy.

While the strategy mentioned above will certainly work, we prefer a more
personalized approach. This is exactly why we have a licensed, registered
dietitian on staff. Having a personalized nutrition program is the
absolute best way to ensure adherence and, ultimately, success. Back

I have never really worked out. Will this be too hard
for me?
Our program design department will design a workout specifically for you
at this point in your fitness journey. We have started hundreds of clients
with no exercise in their background and we have seen them achieve results
that they never thought possible. Back to Top
What are your membership fees?
We have a wide range of membership structures. Check out our
rates page and contact us to see which program we would suggest for
you and your goals. Back to Top
